GeoMet Schedules Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 2008 Earnings Release and Conference Call and Announces Annual Stockholder Meeting Date and Record Date

GeoMet, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMET) announced today that it will issue its fourth quarter and fiscal 2008 earnings release before the market opens on Friday, March 13, 2009. The Company will also hold its quarterly conference call that morning at 10:30 a.m. Central Time.

Separately, GeoMet announced that it will hold its annual meeting of stockholders at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009.
