Chaparral Energy Schedules Third Quarter 2008 Earnings Conference Call

Chaparral Energy, Inc. announced today it will hold a conference call on Friday, November 14, at 9:00 a.m. Central to discuss its third quarter 2008 financial and operating results. Prior to the call the Company will release its 10-Q for the period ending September 30, 2008.

Chaparral Energy, Inc. announced on July 15, 2008, that the Company and Edge Petroleum Corporation (EPEX: 0.57, -0.12, -17.4%) (EPEXP: 9.20, -1.30, -12.4%) have entered into a definitive merger agreement that provides for Chaparral to acquire Edge in an all-stock transaction.
